What you'll build
You'll build a complete invoicing application with Next.js that runs entirely in the browser using localStorage. When you're done, you'll have a polished tool with a dashboard showing outstanding and paid totals, full client management with inline editing, invoice creation with dynamic line items and live totals, status tracking (draft → sent → paid → overdue), downloadable PDF invoices, and a settings page for your business profile. Ships with realistic demo data and a warm sage-and-cream design. No accounts, no database, no deployment credentials. Just a working tool. Optional phases add Supabase cloud storage and Stripe/Resend for payments and email delivery.

Node.js 18+ installed, Claude Code installed. No accounts, API keys, or databases needed for the base build.
